why rotary kiln is most suitable for soft limestone (which is confirmed by World big lime suppliers and our experiences)?
a, most powder will be generated in cooling area, calcination zone isn't much; so there is no problem for preheater and rotary kiln; since the cooler size is much big volume, so the air is also easy to penerate
b, big capacity rotary kiln is some lower investment, while the similar production cost, but lower maintenance cost and higher quality lime.
c, 600~700tpd rotary kiln, I guarantee 1000~1100kcal/kg lime; 900~1000tpd, I guarantee 900~1000kcal/kg lime; while power consumption 28~32kW.h/ton, higher lime quality and lower maintenance cost than PFR
Pfr Kiln is good choice if you just consider small capacity VSK, and Twin-O doesnot get some problems by using other shape of cross section while producing the better quality lime in the same time
