Handan metallurgical engineering & Research Co. Ltd (MER) currently is the TOP professional company majoring in design, equipment fabrication, installation, production, training, and commissioning in China. So far, the company has undertaken around 100sets of rotary kiln of Active Lime (dolomite calcinations).
MER energy saving revolving kiln of Active Lime (dolomite calcinations) production line is the most uniform calcinations technology and equipment for Active Lime (dolomite calcinations), adopting advanced vertical preheater, rotary kiln and vertical cooler technology. It can reduce energy consumption, raise production capacity, reduce costs, and achieve good results in emission reduction and energy saving. The raw material particle size is 15~45mm (10~20mm with less productivity), the product activity is 420ml or more. The fuel can be gas and solid, or mixing. The products specifications include 100t/d,150t/d, 200t/d, 300t/d, 400t/d, 500t/d, 600t/d, 700t/d, 800t/d, 900t/d, 1000t/d and 1200t/d.
MER vertical pre-heater has high heat exchange efficiency. After the pre-decomposition, the material will be returned to rotary kiln to be further calcination. The system makes full use of the residual heat of flue gas. The Adjustable technology of conveying pipe is firstly originated in China. It enlarges the particle size range of material.
The refractory lining of MER rotary kiln adopts new-type multiple energy saving brick which is an exclusive technology and developed independently. Contrast with the traditional refractory material, the multiple energy saving brick can reduce the temperature of kiln surface, and prolong service life of rotary kiln. Adopting advanced average cooling air technology, MER vertical cooler achieves high efficiency in heat-exchanger and uniform cooling. After being heat transferred, the secondary air is directly forced into the rotary kiln to be reused.

Heat consumption/ton (including electrical/ fuel consumption) for 800~1000tpd is almost the same as PFR while more advantages than twin-shaft Pfr Kiln.
For maximizing the mine value, we reference set up both Rotary kiln and Pfr Kiln, for both small size and big size limestone; high quality and normal quality lime, flexibile output.
Just for normal lime production, we reference VSK for small capacity100-300tpd, while 600~1200tpd by using rotary kiln.

Three Key Equipments for rotary kiln
Burner
MERSQ series burner is designed on the basis of different kiln type, coal powder character and technical conditions. Its special structure and reasonable technical parameter could ensure full mixing among fuel, primary air and secondary air. It has advantages of high burning efficiency, strong heating intensity and good flame shape. It is easy to adjust and has been widely used.
MERSQ burner, with advanced technology, is precisely machined. The material is special, and could resist high temperature and abrasion. It has a long service life. Above all, MERSQ has a high reputation among users.
• Flame shape is regular, complete, and stable. Sweeping of furnace lining will not appear. Ringing will be avoided, so it can prolong the service life of furnace lining.
• Good mixing of fuel, primary air and secondary air could lead to full burning. It could raise the heating intensity of furnace, and reach the purpose of increasing production and reducing energy consumption.
• Reasonable flame shape can bring uniform burning temperature distribution. So it could protect furnace mouth and cylinder.
• Reducing the content of CO and NOx, ensuring the safety operation of dust removal behind the kiln and environment protection.
• Controlling valve is equipped in each ventilation circuit, and it’s flexible in adjusting the air volume and proportion of it in respective circuit, thus to adjust the shape of flame and combustion intensity
